NVQ Level 2 — Steel Fixing
NVQ Level 2 in Steel Fixing is a work-based qualification covering cutting, bending, and fixing reinforcement bar and mesh to structural drawings, tying and positioning reinforcement ahead of concrete pours. It's assessed from evidence of the work you're already doing on-site — no exams, no classroom study — so it's suited to anyone already active in this trade who wants to formalise their skills. This is the qualifying route to a Blue Skilled Worker CSCS card.
